The reducer is an accessory used to connect pipes of two different calibers. The shape is a large end at one end and a small end at the other. It is also called a small end.

Another type of reducer is a socket connection, that is, the sleeves are welded at both ends of the pipe fitting. During installation, the pipe is directly inserted into the pipe fitting and sealed with a welding rod (sealing and welding). This installation method is convenient and quick. There is also a flange-type reducer, which is a flange with a neck that is welded to both ends of the pipe fitting. The installer can directly tighten it with a screw mouth when installing. This installation method of the reducer is fast enough and easy to disassemble, but the cost increases.
